What We Do
-
Support
We support our rescue partners with funding for medical care including spay/neuter, vaccines, and microchips.
-
Rescue
Even though we didn’t intend to rescue dogs, there are times when no one else steps up and we decide to step in to save a life or lives. Thanks t our fosters, we are able to save between 20-30 lives a year.
-
Educate
Our local shelters are overcrowded, and backyard breeders are adding to this problem. We aim to raise awareness on these issues and the problems of irresponsible dog ownership, including dumping, not spaying/neutering, and abuse/neglect.

“Hi there! I just wanted to thank Grace for being such a huge help! I found a dog who seemed to have been dumped. She was a puppy and just the sweetest girl. I reached out to many rescues for help with her because I was allergic to her and my dog was having a hard time with another dog in the house. Understandably, they were on intake holds because of how many dogs they had. I was expecting the same from Watchdog and was pleasantly surprised. They couldn’t take in dogs but immediately started helping to find either a foster or someone to adopt the pup. None of the other rescues did that. Within just a few days Grace found a loving home that wanted to adopt the puppy! It was a very professional and thorough process to make sure she is going to the right home. Grace was there to the last minute and was also providing advice along the way. We are so grateful for her help and could not have done it without her. The puppy has a better home than I would’ve been able to provide or find for her. You’re doing wonderful work! Thank you so much!”
