FOSTER NEEDED BY 1/17
We have ONE day to save this girl from going to the shelter where she may never get out. She was dumped with another female dog last week in Mesa. She had one meet and greet but it didn’t work out.
After more time to think, I truly feel like her first meet and greet didn’t go well because the excitement/mini aggressions that she showed were due to fear more than actual aggression. She’s just too young to be aggressive like that and she’s been nothing but wonderful around strangers and children.
She is under socialized, so I’m hoping that there’s someone out there who can help her understand that the world isn’t enough scary place. She’s very loving and loyal to her humans.
If you or someone you know, can take her in even for a few weeks while we look for a long-term solution, we will be forever grateful -
Name TBD
Newest addition to the Watchdog Family. Her name is TBD but she went to her foster home today and she couldn’t be in better hands. She came from a family that was neglecting her. She’s young. We don’t know how old yet. She will be adoptable in about a month once she’s vaccinated and spayed.

How our adoptions work
We understand that bringing a new dog into your home is a big decision. That is why we recommend meet and greets with any current animals prior to starting an adoption trial. If everything goes well, we will start the 2-week trial period to see how the animal fits in with your family. Please understand that it takes more than two weeks for a stray/street dog to decompress and feel safe. This is more for puppies who don’t have as traumatic of a past. We have many resources to help you with your new family member, including trainers (obedience and behavioral), veterinarians, and more.
